This course day offers essential practical information about living and working in Norway, combined with cross-cultural training specific to the Norwegian context. The detailed topics include Norway’s history, politics, culture, national characteristics, the welfare system, raising children in Norway, safety, transportation, suggested programs for Norwegian language instruction and more.
In addition to the presentations, participants will receive maps, regional brochures, and the comprehensive SCI Information Guide, packed with useful details about the Stavanger region. The small class size ensures a personalized experience, allowing for individual questions and follow-up discussions.
The day also includes lunch, providing a great opportunity to network with other newcomers, share experiences, and build valuable connections. The course aims to help participants "connect the dots" both practically and culturally, ensuring a smoother transition to life in Norway.
