Finance master students are invited to a social evening together with some of our established finance institutions in the region.

The Stavanger region has a substantial financial sector, including private equity and venture capital funds with increasing assets under management.

Many companies are looking for new employees. We hereby invite finance master students and businesses to a social evening where the discussion will be around the future financial market in the Stavanger-region.

In this meeting you will meet: Stine Verwegen (Deloitte), Tor Stian Kjøllesdal (Equinor), Maren Stangeland (Nysnø Klimainvesteringer), Siri Marvik Dahl (DNB), Yuhong Hermansen (Fyrholmen AS) and Beate Bredesen (SR-Forvaltning).

Our host this evening is Stavanger Chamber of Commerce´s Finance resource group. The group consists of a range of financial institutions who has been working closely together since 2001 to create a strong financial hub in our region.

Speakers

Tor Stian Kjøllesdal

Tor Stian Kjøllesdal is Head of Treasury and Tax competence center in Equinor responsible for global shared services (AP, payments, internal bank, indirect tax, and treasury back-office) and all Treasury and Tax resources organized in a competence center. He started in Equinor in 2005 and has since 2008 held various management positions within cash management and treasury in the company. Tor Stian holds a master’s degree in economics and business administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

Stine Verwegen

Stine is the committed and passionate leader of Deloitte’s Consulting department in Stavanger. She started her career as an Auditor in Deloitte in 2004, and switched to the Advisory discipline a few years later. Her primary focus has always been on companies operating in the Energy Industry. During the past decades she has served as the project manager on larger multidisciplinary projects within our clients Finance Function and CFO’s area; involving everything from process optimizations, forecasting, modelling, Due Diligences, accounting topics and tax matters.

Siri Marvik Dahl

Siri Marvik Dahl is Regional Marketing & Admin. Coordinator at DNB Corporate Banking. She has more than 20 years of experience from both national and internasjonal banking. Ranging from equity trading in London to private banking in Luxembourg. For the last seven years she has been with DNB, first within treasury management and now in her current role.

Maren Stangeland

Maren Stangeland is an Investment Manager at Nysnø Climate Investments. She has experience from private equity at HitecVision, and as a financial consultant at Deloitte. In Nysnø, Maren works with direct investments in green industrial projects and venture capital. Maren holds an MSc in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School, and a BBA from Trondheim Business School (NTNU).

Beate Bredesen

Beate has a business degree from BI Norwegian Business school and is an authorized financial analyst (AFA) a long with a course in sustainability and transformation from NTNU. She has developed a great insight in the stock market through her previous years in Orkla investment, Skagen and her current title as portfolio manager at SR-Forvaltning. Beate started her position in 2018 and has since 2019 been an expert in her field for SR-Bank world wide.

Yuhong Hermansen

YuHong Hermansen is authorized financial alanyst (AFA) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Many years as a CEO of Herfo, Chairman of the board DSD and Herfo, and board member of Stavanger Chamber of Commerce.

Caroline Kristiansen

Starting her second year studying economics and administration at HHUiS. She wants to be a part of engaging and maybe even sparking finance interest in other students. She is really excited to be the next leader of Børsklubben UiS and pursue spreading finance interest as our vision.
