Stavanger as an attractive financial hub

Morten Færevåg is the managing director of Equinor Asset Management AS. He has experience from various parts of Equinor’s CFO organisation, including nine years as head of the group’s Capital Markets/Treasury unit. Morten is siviløkonom and cand.merc. from NHH Norwegian School of Economics.

Stine is the committed and passionate leader of Deloitte’s Consulting department in Stavanger. She started her career as an Auditor in Deloitte in 2004, and switched to the Advisory discipline a few years later. Her primary focus has always been on companies operating in the Energy Industry. During the past decades she has served as the project manager on larger multidisciplinary projects within our clients Finance Function and CFO’s area; involving everything from process optimizations, forecasting, modelling, Due Diligences, accounting topics and tax matters.

Maren Stangeland is an Investment Manager at Nysnø Climate Investments. She has experience from private equity at HitecVision, and as a financial consultant at Deloitte. In Nysnø, Maren works with direct investments in green industrial projects and venture capital. Maren holds an MSc in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School, and a BBA from Trondheim Business School (NTNU).

Ådne Grødem is the CEO of the Stavanger based family office - Herfo. He has a strong entrepreneurial mindset and extensive operational and leadership experience from tech and oil service-related companies. He also has a tenure from Private Equity, working as a Partner on small cap buy-outs.

Anne Line Kristensen Larsen startet i SKAGEN i 2016 som porteføljetrainee og risikoanalytiker. I 2018 ble hun aksjeanalytiker med ansvaret
for å gjennomføre analyser av globale børsnoterte eiendomsselskaper i tillegg til å analysere eksisterende og nye investeringsmuligheter for eiendomsfondet SKAGEN m2. I juli 2022 ble hun porteføljeforvalter for fondet. Anne Line har vært en CFA Charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst) siden februar 2022. Hun har en Master i Finance and International Business og en Bachelor i økonomi og administrasjon fra universitetet i Aarhus.

Starting her third year studying economics and administration at HHUiS. She wants to be a part of engaging and maybe even sparking finance interest in other students. She is really excited to be the leader of Børsklubben UiS and continue to spread finance interest.

Ola Kvaløy is Dean at University of Stavanger Business School. Kvaløy conducts research on topics related to incentives, economic behavior and economic organization. He has also been a regular columnist in Dagens Næringsliv since 2012, part of Kåkånomics since its inception in 2017, and holds several board positions in government-appointed committees.

Elin Bue has been working in SpareBank 1 SR-Bank since 2005. She joined the bank after finishing her Master's degree in Strategy and Management from Norges Handelshøyskole (NHH) in Bergen, and has over the past 18 years held different roles within both the Private and Corporate Market divisions. She is now Director of the corporate specialists, including Cash Management, Corporate Leasing, Pension & Insurance and Public sector. She is a part of the management team in the Large Corporate Divison. Elin has also been board member at BN Bank AS and SR-Forvaltning AS.
