Finance master students are invited to a social evening together with some of our established finance institutions in the region.

The Stavanger region has a substantial financial sector, including private equity and venture capital funds with increasing assets under management.

Many companies are looking for new employees. We hereby invite finance master students and businesses to a social evening where the discussion will be around the future financial market in the Stavanger-region.

Speakers

Ya Ting Wong

Ya Ting Wong is a Director in the Transaction Services team at PwC Deals. She has 10 years of experience in the company and her extensive background spans auditing, financial due diligence, and valuation. Ya Ting primarily lead large financial due diligence projects within the energy and infrastructure sectors, where PwC Deals acts as a buy-side or sell-side advisor in a transaction process. She holds an MSc in Accounting and Auditing, as well as an MSc in Economics and Business Administration, both from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

Malin Moen

Malin Moen is an Associate in the Corporate Finance team at PwC Deals. She typically works on sales mandates for companies within the energy industry. She holds an MSc in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

Aiza Aidekova

Aiza Aidekova is a senior analyst in the Capital Markets team in Equinor. She has been working in Equinor for roughly 5 years, spending most of her time in Treasury & Tax, but also rotating in a broader Finance & Control function. She is currently responsible for ESG and Sustainable financing, working on advisory and follow ups with regards to loans and debt capital markets funding. Aiza was previously engaged in other treasury activities such as liquidity forecasting, capital distribution modelling, research, relationship and engagement with credit rating agencies etc. She holds a MSc in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School with study abroad in Bocconi University.

Anders Garneng

Anders Garneng is a Senior Associate in the investment team at HitecVision. He is currently involved in projects within renewable energy and energy transition. Anders holds an MSc in Business with Major in Finance at the BI Norwegian Business School.

Elena Sofia Baraldi

Elena Sofia Baraldi is an Analyst in the investment team at HitecVision. She spends most of her time working on energy transition transactions. She holds a Master of Management from the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Germany.

Konrad Kvitvær

Konrad Kvitvær has many years' experience in different roles in retail banking. He is a manager at Rogaland Sparebank (Den Gule Banken). He is in charge for a team of financial advisors who are specialized in mortgage, savings and insurance. Konrad has a Bachelor's degree in economics at University of Stavanger and MBA at Edinburgh Business School.

Lars Joackim Mauritzen

Lars Joakim Mauritzen is an Investment Manager at the Stavanger based investment company Herfo Finans AS. He is responsible for all unlisted investments, which includes assets related to a variety of sectors and stages. Prior to joining Herfo, he worked for KPMG as a transactions manager, with focus on due diligence, modelling and petroleum tax. Lars Joakim has a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Stavanger, and is siviløkonom and Certified Public Accountant from NHH Norwegian School of Economics.

Stein Svalestad

Stein Svalestad is CEO of SKAGEN AS and manages the SKAGEN Select fund-of-funds. Stein has a Master’s in Economics from the University of Bergen.

Martin Krüger

Martin Krüger is a master's student at UiS in Business Administration (applied finance). He is the current leader of Børsklubben UiS. He is also portfolio manager at «Studentkapital», where a selection of students together manage the associations' values.

Ola Kvaløy

Ola Kvaløy is Dean at University of Stavanger Business School. Kvaløy conducts research on topics related to incentives, economic behavior and economic organization. He has also been a regular columnist in Dagens Næringsliv since 2012, part of Kåkånomics since its inception in 2017, and holds several board positions in government-appointed committees.
