Beach-clean up with Clean Shores Norway

Hello beach cleaners! 

Saturday 16th of March, the whole of Norway is gathering far and wide for a joint clean-up action (vårryddedagen) to make sure we meet the outdoor season ahead with clean shores, cities, and create a safe environment for breeding birds all around. 

This is a perfect community activity to get to know your region, network with fellow likeminded friendly people, make a positive impact on your surroundings, feel good about yourselves and get a cleaner planet in return. 

Join our session together with Clean Shores Norway to learn a bit about their initiative, how much plastic and waste they remove each year and how you can be part of the solution.

Please bring friends and family, the more hands the better!

What should you bring? 

Warm clothing that's weather appropriate and you feel comfortable handling waste in.

Rubber boots or other solid shoes.

Lunch / snacks and water. 

Clean Shore Norway will provide us all with gloves, bags and vest.

11:00 - Meet up at Brunnavika, Tananger 

11:15 - What is Clean Shores Norway?

11:30 - let's start cleaning

14.00 - Great effort, we are done!

Transportation: 

By Car: Park at the end of Raffinerivegen, 4055 Sola

By Bus:

Nr 42 from Sandnes or Sola, bus stop Orshaug A or B (depending on the direction you arrive from. Followed by a 15 walk. 

Nr 2, from Stavanger, bus stop Mento A. Followed by a 15 min walk.
