Christmas market at Utstein Farm

Klostergården is a farm located in beautiful surroundings at Mosterøy. They offer sustainable food production in a protected historical cultural environment.

Their Christmas Market is very popular and offers unique products from Utstein farm as well as other local producers. Find the perfect Perfect Christmas gift - or treat yourself with something nice from the Stavanger-region. Here you will find everything the region has to offer; yarn, felted products, calendars, cookbooks, candles, juice and marmalades etc. 

The fair opens at 12.00. Let's meet at Utstein Kloster Hotel about 11.00 for a short hike at Fjøløy before entering the Christmas market. Fjøloy is a spectacular place for hiking and well worth visiting. Walking from Utstein Kloster hotel -> Fjøløy -> Klostergården, is about 3 km in total.

Program for the day:
10.10 Departure from Stavanger by bus nr 10
11.00 Meet outside Utstein Kloster hotel
11.05 A short hike to Fjøløy Fort 
12.00 Christmas fair with local products. You stay as long as you would like.

For lunch it is possible to eat at Utstein Kloster hotel, or at the Christmas fair.

Transportation:

By car: If you already have a full car -> Go directly to Utstein Kloster Hotel,  Mosterøyveien 661, 4156 Mosterøy (about 30 minutes drive from Stavanger) If you have seats available, please meet at Askjekrysset at 10.38 and assist bringing extra people from the bus stop to the hotel.

By bus: Bus nr 10 from Stavanger (Olavs gt 5) at 10.10, arrival Askjekrysset at 10.38 (close to a gas station/ Kiwi store), and carpool to Utstein.

Return: Bus nr 10 depart from Askjekrysset at 14.26 and 15.26 - or we do carpooling back to Stavanger.
