Energy for the future

Helleik works as Project Coordinator for the research project Future Energy Hub at UiS. He has an extensive background in the field of energy, having worked with oil and gas, solar energy, offshore wind and renewable energy systems for the aquaculture industry. With a BSc in Petroleum engineering and an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems and the Environment, he is deeply passionate about our collective energy future.

Larissa is a Petroleum engineer from Brazil. She is currently taking a Master in Drilling Technology at the University of Stavanger and is the President of the SPE Stavanger Student Chapter. During this summer she was an intern for Equinor in Norway, having worked with Digital Scouting for Exploration Portfolio.

Muhammad Ali Kaifi is an international student enrolled in master in Energy, Environment and Society at the UiS and served as the Vice President of the program. I am a freelance environmental journalist and running a student organisation for plantation drive in Islamabad. I’m interested in researching on green automation and renewable technologies, and planning to research further in PhD.

Emilie Christensen is 22 years old and study Energy, Environment and Society at the University of Stavanger. She has since January been a member of Norwegian Energy Solutions Young Professionals Board, and was this summer elected as chairman. Besides this, Emilie is very involved in student politics and is now a student representative in the university board.
