ENTREPRENEUR 2020: Game-changing technology

Join us for an inspirational visit to Beyonder and Forus Næringspark.

Beyonder  is a Norwegian energy tech company that has developed the next generation of sustainable Li-ion capacitors and supercapacitors for the heavy-duty industry sector. Beyonder has developed a patented process of converting sustainable forestry residue, namely sawdust from pine and spruce, into super-activated carbon for use in the capacitor’s positive electrode. The negative electrode uses silicon derived from sand, which is both renewable and recyclable.

Forus Næringspark Forus is Norway’s most important business area and the driving force within the Stavanger region. More than 2 million square meters of commercial properties are housing approximately 2,500 businesses and 40,000 employees, representing world-leading expertise in a vast number of areas. You will find businesses representing all kind of industries and in all sizes, from exciting technology, contracting and manufacturing, to information technology, general trade and professional services. There are currently huge and ongoing initiatives and plans for further developing Forus as the country’s leading business hub for entrepreneurs.

This event is part of our ENTREPRENEUR 2020-series. ENTREPRENEUR 2020 will focus especially on companies working on green growth and sustainable development.
