Entrepreneur 2021: Create growth and dare to be different

This region is privileged in many ways. Natural resources, a highly educated workforce from all corners of the world, a stable political system and a safe environment contribute to this. However, are we using our full potential when developing new industries and creating new jobs. There is no easy answer, but there are many talented people involved in generating ideas as to what these industries might be. 

Our speakers are three very passionate people in their field, all with their own ideas as to what will benefit the development of new industries in the region.

Magnus Meisal, CEO at FOMO Works, will talk about dare to be different. FOMO Works is a corporate co-working space facilitating ambitious growth plans for leading tech companies. Where entrepreneurs meet other likeminded people. 

Martin Gallardo, Senior Manager at Innovation Lead at Energy Experience Center, PwC Norway will share the vision of Slingshot, a non-profit organization on a mission to scale companies along the West Coast region of Norway to create growth and sustainable jobs.

Trygve Pedersen, CEO at Wenn, will explain how they created their company and website and how working with Slingshot  has enhanced the  growth strategy and has contributed to honing in on the products they now sell. Wenn is a local company that has developed AI based solutions for automatically detecting car damage and providing cost estimates.They are now in the process of introducing globally scalable technology to the companies like insurance, appraisers, car repair workshops and car rental.
