Hiking at beautiful Rennesøy

Both hikes are about 6 kilometer as a roundtrip. Pilå is located at 217m above sea level, and Rennesøyhodnet at 238m. Nice landscape, no climbing and a combination of walking on farmland and farmroads. Both places have access by bus. We promise a nice hike, and choose the trail that might be best due to wind/weather. The lengt of the hike will be around 2-3 hours depending on the group and conditions. An important mission for this hike is networking and become familiar with the area, ergo we will rather take our time and spend it well than rush along. 

What to bring? - hiking boots or rubber boots, a wind breaker or rain gear, a small back pack with lunch and drinks. 

Both places have access with bus nr 10 from Stavanger City Centre, and within sone: Nord-Jæren. A 24 hour ticket (train and bus) is NOK 85 for adults/ NOK 43 for children and students. Tickets

Pilå: Stavanger- Vikevåg (bus stop: Vikevåg skule) 36 minutes

Rennesøyhodnet: Stavanger- Østhusvik (bus stop: Hegglandslia) 55 minutes

You will receive an update the day before with detailed information about the destination, what to bring...etc, including parking if any of you prefer to drive yourself.
