Hike to Storaberget

Storaberget is a 5 kilometer lightly trafficked loop trail located near Hommersåk and is rated as moderate. On the way to the top you will get an insight into cultural monuments. We will walk past historical monuments like a water company which was built during World War II and a decayed fort. And at the top: a spectacular view overlooking Lutsivannet (Lutsi lake).

The hike takes about four hours with a lunch break. 

Meeting point:

Parking lot at "Hogstad" (map) which is located on the righthand side of the county road 516 toward Hommersåk. It is possible to take public transport to the bus stop Hogstad nord, or arrive by car.   We will forward more details closer to the event the event.

What to wear and what to bring:

Please bring a backpack with food and something to drink. Weather conditions  this time of year  are unstable , so always bring an extra layer, hiking boots/ sport shoes, a wind breaker and something to sit on while eating your lunch.
