Fishing on the ice

This is a unique opportunity to go ice fishing.   We have some friends in Bjerkreim, at Røysland gård, who have kindly invited us to use this opportunity to do ice fishing while the ice is thick and safe. They have also  welcomed us to stop by their farm for a cup of hot chocolate too. 

You need:  fishing gear, bait for ice fishing, warm outfit, backback with extra clothing, termos with a hot drink and something to eat.  If you have an ice drill, please feel free to bring it all. Our host also has an ice-drill.

Program:

10.00 Departure from Stavanger or elsewhere (Carpool if possible). 

10.50 We meet at Røysland Gaard, Buevegen 1990, 4389 Vikeså. Our hosts for the day are Susanne and Kjell Ivar Ueland.

11.00 Carpool from Røysland to the lake close by for fishing.

Return to Røysland Gaard when you get cold, and get a cup of hot chocolate and «lapper» (pikelets) from Susanne.

15.00 ish... departure from Bjerkreim (depending on temperature, and how long you want to fish).
