Morning Connections: Multilingualism

Morning Connections is a supportive parent community and venue for learning about education, parenting, expat life and living in Norway.

In this session you'll meet Jacqueline Peterson who will be presenting "Reading in Multilingual Families: Challenges and Opportunities".

This session will explore the dynamics of reading in multilingual families, examining both the challenges and opportunities that arise when children grow up with multiple languages. It will highlight how multilingualism affects literacy development and offer practical tips for parents to support reading skills in multiple languages. Participants will learn about the benefits of multilingual reading, as well as strategies for creating a positive and effective reading environment at home using multilingual resources.
