Factory visit: Sandnes Garn and Woodling

The Sandnes Garn factory is one of the last standing factories in Norway along with Figgjo As that still has the production running. They spread the joy of knitting with all the corners of the world, shipping out the total of 14 million yarn nests a year to Canada, Germany and Finland to mention a few. But is of coursed very much loved locally, everyone knows of the company and most people own a Sandnes Garn home knitted sweater or a pair of mittens. 

Woodling is a local clothing brand focusing on natural materials. Siv Elise Seland is inspired by Norwegian traditions and produces clothing that is ment to last, sustainable fashion all the way! Come see a family farm transformed into production, office and in house store. 

At this event you'll get a little history, a factory tour and a visit to their very own factory outlet, get knitting or perhaps purchase a new sweater or dress. 

The drive from Stavanger is roughly 30 minutes. We will need to carpool, let me know when enrolling if you have any seats available in your car. Also let me know if you are driving from Stavanger or Sandnes so we can coordinate who needs a ride. those of you joining from Stavanger can meet up at our building (Rosenkildehuset, Strandkaien 6, 4005 Stavanger).
