Spectacular hike to Rennesøyhodnet

Rennesøyhodnet is a very nice hike, about 5,7 km.   Map and more detailed information in the link.

We will start our hike at Hegglandslia, Østhusvik (Rennesøy). Hegglandslia is the name of the bus stop and P-lot.   Rennesøyhodnet has become a popular destination, and the P-lot is often crowded. We recommend car-pooling if possible.

Schedule: 

11.10 Bus departure from Stavanger city centre, (Bus nr 10 from Stavanger at 11:10). NOK 40.-

12.00 Meet and greet at Hegglandslia

12.00 - 15.30 Hiking, photos and lunch at Rennesøyhodnet. There are several trails in the area, and we might split in groups depending on how much time you have available.

15.55 Latest return to bus-stop for participants going by bus.

16.04 Bus  departure.

Food and clothing:

Dress for the weather and wear proper hiking shoes or sports shoes. Bring a small backpack with food and drinks, and an extra layer to dress warm while sitting down for lunch.
