All SCI events postponed due to coronavirus
-As the region’s largest event organiser, we have monitored the situation carefully and based on current information and advice from health authorities have decided to postpone all scheduled meetings and events in March and April. It is very important that we all do what we can to stop the spread of infection, Harald Minge, CEO Stavanger Chamber of Commerce, says.
Most meetings will be re-scheduled, but also looking at alternative ways of carrying out some meetings, such as streaming or webinars.
Updates will be available on our website, and participants will be notified by email as to practicalities regarding a meeting.
-Circumstances are extremely challenging for the regions industry. While adhering to preventative measures to stop and contain infection, but at the same time experiencing disruptions and a drop in business activity. In the coming months the Chambers most important role will be to assist our 2000 member companies in the best possible way, Minge says.
