83 percent less activity at Stavanger Airport, Sola, and Go-Ahead reports of further train cancellations.
Anette Sigmundstad, CEO at Stavanger Airport, Sola today announced that 83 percent of flights were cancelled Monday this week compared to last Monday.
– Needless to say, this is a very special situation, and air traffic will be severely reduced in the foreseeable future. There are a few flights to Bergen and Olso, she says.

Today, Thursday, there are flights leaving for Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Trondheim, Sandefjord, Aberdeen and Kristiansand in addition to Bergen and Oslo. Further train cancellations
Due to the corona virus situation Go-Ahead Norge has cancelled additional departures on Sørlandsbanen. The cancellations came into effect 19 March.
In addition to the two previous cancellations announced on the Stavanger-Oslo-Stavanger route, further cancellations will be implemented during the week and weekends.
– We ask for our customers patience and understanding in these extraoridinary times. The health and wellbeing of everyone using the railway is our priority, says CEO in Go-Ahead Norge Cathrine Elgin.
In agreement with the Railway Directorate, Go Ahead have cancelled six departures during the week, six departures on Saturdays and six departures on Sundays. Passengers are advised to choose scheduled departures, as there will be no alternative transport for cancelled trains.
